but soon realize the Imperial Police in Delphilan still hunt illegal wizards, and the last survivors from 

the Family of Craft. Alec must learn how to be a wizard with his estranged uncles at their family estate, and 

Lila must follow her feline friend through the unknown wilderness of Norfold. Their stepfather wishes 

they could just be texting crushes on their gridkeys or joyriding in a flying car with friends, but instead 

they are training to fight for their lives. 

Together maybe they can overcome the Emperor and his States of the Imperium, or maybe 

they can just survive their freshman year of high school.
